PhotoFolio is designed to be used by anyone wishing to view, store or
catalogue images.

· MUI interface
· Unlimited browse windows can be opened and operated independently
  (limited by system memory)
· Fully user configurable generation of proofs
· Internally multitasking (generate proofs and browse different directories
  simultaneously)
· Display multiple images using scaled loading (to fit the screen size), or
  progressively display as loaded

*** Bug fixes in version 1.1
· VLab - If you quick grabbed and then closed the window, the list was not
freed causing amnesia - Now fixed.

· If you were showing selected images, then deleted the "next" or
"previous" image before it had be viewed, PhotoFolio would freeze. Now
Fixed.

· Under certain conditions some context menu items were disabled, however
their main menu equivalents, weren't. Now fixed.

· When creating a proof of a greyscale image that was smaller than the
required proof size, the proof displayed contained garbage. Now fixed.

· When using the akPNG datatype to load a PNG image, the system would hang
because of the large amount of stack space required by the akPNG datatype.
Now fixed.

· If a proof was flagged as questionable and it was selected, but hidden,
the "selected" operations still worked on it. Now fixed.

· Sometimes a image path that was added to the listtree was not fully
qualified, but instead, referenced from PROGDIR:, this path was then stored
in the proof. If you then moved PhotoFolio to a different place on your
hard disk, the path stored in these proofs became invalid, meaning
PhotoFolio could not find the original image associated with the proof.
PhotoFolio now fully qualifies every path. Now fixed

· If you iconifed while a browse window was loading, PhotoFolio would
crash. Now fixed.

· Some ASL requesters opened on an incorrect screen. Now fixed.

· Since changing how the browse window loaded proofs, a bug appeared where
the low memory check only happened when the proofs were added to the
window. This didn't take into account the memory required to actually
display the proof. Now fixed.

· "Apply all" in the change attributes requester stopped working.
Now fixed.

· Selecting or de-selecting all proofs caused double update of the browse
window. Now fixed.

· Library detection on start-up failed under certain conditions. Now fixed.
guigfx.library AND render.library are now required even if you are running
CyberGraphX.

· If when moving an image you said no to replace a file with the same name,
PhotoFolio still deleted the source image. Now fixed.

· VLab - If vlab.mcc was installed but you didn't have vlab.library, PhotoFolio
would crash. Now fixed.

· Sorting alphabetically now treats uppercase the same as lowercase.

· Removing a path from the main window with no path selected, caused enforcer hits/crashes.
Now fixed.

· Making paths with names greater than 32 characters in length used to cause truncated names
to appear in the listtree (with display Full Paths selected). Now fixed.

· Dropping a path from the listtree onto the browse window, did not reset
the sort menu items. Now fixed.

· Saving the default project opened an ASL requester, it shouldn't have. Now fixed.


New Features in version 1.1

· Added the option to turn automatic opening of the on or off.

· In earlier versions, paths containing no files were not added to the list
tree, now they are.

· Added FAQ and Getting started to the documentation.

· The way PhotoFolio ignores .info files in the browse window has been
changed. You can now enter a Amiga DOS pattern to ignore any sorts of
file types.

· PhotoFolio currently stores proofs in a directory structure that mirrors
the image's. I have added a check box to turn this on and off in
"Settings/Make", allowing PhotoFolio to store the proofs directly into the
directory specified.

· Double clicking the "Image path" will now open an ASL requester so you
can "Add one path"

· The move window now remembers the last move's paths

· Move now recognises the "Proof load display update" setting and will
update the browse window(s) accordingly. This will speed up the move
operation.

· Added the link status in the proof information window.

· Browse windows menus have been slightly rearranged.

*** LOCALE files and non English documentation have now been moved to
separate archives on the web site.
